Web Frontend Developer for Apache la 1&1 Internet Romania în Bucuresti

We are searching for a colleague for the following position:

Web Frontend Developer for Apache
in our Bucharest-based development team.

What would you do?

You will….
…implement new web frontend for managing Apache HTTP rewrite rules using Grails;
…design software components for Apache Web Server;
…document your technical specification using UML;
…find solutions for our customer’s needs together with your German colleagues.
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.

If you have:
… at least 4 years of experience in software development and Apache Web Server configuration;
…experience with Apache 2.x for configuration and knowledge of the Function mod_rewrite;
… experience in specifying your technical components using UML;
… experience in implementing web frontends with Grails;
…already worked with database systems such as MySQL;
…development skills in shell-scripting and Linux;
…general knowledge of HTTP-Protocol;
…excellent written and verbal English skills;
…high level of creativity and are also looking for responsibility and space for your own ideas;
…an open mind and are an outgoing person.

Would be a plus:
…knowledge in building python- or C-module for Apache 2.x;
….knowledge in Java;
…experience with distributed, high availability and high load systems;
…knowledge of development environment based on Eclipse, SVN and Maven;
…experience with deployable Tools as Hudson and RPM;
...knowledge of German language.
