Our Partner, an industrial leader in digital security for the Telecom and Finance sectors, has become the world’s largest producer of smart cards, supplier of complex customer solutions and smart card services.
The team based in Prague is oriented mostly on telecommunication and serves not only three mobile operators in the Czech Republic (Vodafone, O2, T-mobile) but also customers in whole Europe: Vodafone group, O2 group, Orange group etc.
Responsibilities:
Qualified candidates will possess the technical aptitude and business acumen with a consultative approach to find creative solutions to real customer problems.
Main tasks:
• Validation of customized SW / connectors and global solutions linked to company’s Telco products;
• Participating in the test strategy, writing the test plan and tests and being responsible for validation tests in java and Linux / Unix platforms;
• Designing test plans based on functional requirements specifications;
• Reviewing or participation/definition of the test strategy (TPP);
• Writing test cases for testing the software solutions;
• Writing and performing manual and automated tests of the SW;
• Recording defects, verifying fixed defects;
• Regression testing, non-functional testing;
• Consolidating, reporting and sharing tests results (VLR review) & writing test result reports (VTP/VTR/ALR);
• Working closely with developers and integrators to help to deliver solutions with high quality;
• Respecting of internal process: reviews, quality, and configuration management.

Technical requirements:
• Good validation knowledge/culture;
• Good knowledge of validation methodology (validation test plan, Unit test);
• Standard load tests tools: soapui and jmeter;
• Unix OS (HP UX, Solaris, Linux), basic overview of Oracle/SQL;
• Knowledge of Junit in Eclipse environment and Maven repository will be appreciated;
• Experience as quality center member with test automation tools/frameworks & Quality Center (mercury) is an advantage.
Other requirements:
• Fluent English;
• University graduate with a technical degree;
• 2 - 4 years experience in similar role is required;
• Experience with project life cycle;
• Communicative, open-minded, team player when necessary;
• Very good analytical mind, able and willing to learn.
