2008 has represented for PENTALOG Group the start up of a great cooperation in the field of mobile wireless solutions. Therefore, the team has acquired a substantial know how and expertise in Telecom projects so far, dealing with important projects in semiconductors field, for major players in the market.
Following the excellent customer support provided for 2G and 2.5G platforms for ST-Ericsson during this collaboration of 2 years, 2010 brought for our Group several new collaborations and project requests in different Romanian locations. Interesting 2G and 3G missions are being developed as we speak.
For our agency in Iasi, we are also focusing our activities towards 3G maintenance and support in the same successful way. It is the reason why we are looking to enrich our team with 8 new responsible and professional Engineers who are quick in responding to customer needs and who excel at teamwork.
Your main objective will be the preparing of specifications, the development and testing required in order to establish a platform for automated testing for 2G/3G mobile platforms (automation of non reg, functional and performance tests).
You will be working with:
- Driver for Agilent 8960, CMU200 and UPV;
- Applicative part for Android and OS Meego;
- Development of test scripts.
The development will be conducted under Visual Studio 2008 C/C++ with Python scripts and a workshop on the development using Eclipse. The documentation will be written with Doxygen and the core of the business deals with GSM 2G/3G.
Activities:
- Maintenance of customer 3G solutions
- Implementation of new customer requirements/functionalities
- Offering customer support for the integration of all developed solutions
- Support activities related to all issues reported by the customer
- Periodical Software delivery to the customer based on well defined branches
- On site support on customer’s premises in case of emergency situation
- Know-how transfer within the team
Requirements:
- Good knowledge and experience working with cell phone technology (GSM and UMTS)
- Strong knowledge and experience in: Visual Studio 2008, Meego and Android, Agilent 8960, GPIB
- Strong knowledge in programming languages such as: C/C++, Embedded C, Assembler, Linux Embedded; knowledge in Python, Eclipse is a real advantage;
- Strong microprocessors architecture knowledge: different operating modes, interrupt handling, peripherals, registers handling
- Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
- Experience with Trace 32 debugging environment
- Good knowledge of ICD (In Circuit Debugger) such as Lauterbach
- Clearcase versioning system knowledge is an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years experience
- English is a must, French is an advantage
- Good communication skills are required
