Join our QA Team in Embarcadero Iasi office in order assuring high quality of our Java Development tools is delivered to our customers. Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Test Case development, including automated and manual testing
• Has a good understanding of the QA process and test framework
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional and regression tests
• Evaluate and report on latest product quality to team lead and management
• Communicates risks related to his/her own responsibility area
• Learn and understand JBuilder and Eclipse
• Reviews manual and automated test cases
• Participates in team meetings
• Helps to define testing scope and creates visibility around tradeoffs
• Responsible for defining functional testing, negative testing, customer scenario testing, stress testing, performance testing, scalability testing, international testing, and more
• Closely work with the QA Manager, team lead and developers to build competitive software tools
• Develop and maintain a repository of regression test cases, performance /stress test cases
• Create reports regarding the product’s quality at the end of every cycle (sprint, milestone, release).
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field;
- Good OOP fundamentals understanding;
- Experience in software testing – min. 2 years;
- Solid understanding of Java;
- Application development experience in Java is a plus;
- Attracted by programming and technology, strong analytic skills, desire in making development products better;
- Experience in using JBuilder or Eclipse is a plus;
- Experience with using test case management tools (i.e. TestLink, QaTraq) ;
- Experience with automation, writing and running them (preferably Java-based products, experience with Window Tester desired);
- English language – strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Experience with agile development methodology, scrums, etc.
- Team playing abilities required, good problem resolving skills, good communication skills;
