Software Engineer (system integration experience) la Computaris în Bucuresti

Main purpose of the job:
The employee will be involved in software development projects in the field of mobile telephony, mobile commerce, telecoms messaging and telecoms inter-working using state-of-the-art technologies.

Duties& Responsibilities:
1. Create technical specifications and programme designs from requirements specifications
2. Create and implement programmes, working in small teams
3. Create and execute software test plans, including unit test plans
4. Support and enhance software created in earlier projects
5. Install and integrate software that has been developed on customers’ system
6. Write technical documentation for software that has been developed.
7. Install operating system and specific drivers
8. Software configuration of the system
9. Offer support during the various system testing phases
10. Sometimes train customer support staff
11. Work according to agreed project plans. Adhere to Computaris time reporting and other administrative procedures using Computaris’ tools for this purpose.
12. Develop software according to agreed budgets with high quality, following Computaris quality standards based on ISO 9001
13. Agree and execute a Staff Development Concept to constantly improve professional skills relevant to Computaris business.
14. If specified in the contract of employment, take part in an out of hours third-level support rota, when required to do so by Computaris.
15. Team-leading and expert in areas to be defined

Requirements:
• A good university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years full-time working experience in an IT company after completing your degree.
• Experience with software development in Java, C/C++, Oracle and Unix.
• Experience with high performance systems and computer communications protocols.
• Experience with systematic software development methodologies.
• Experience with hardware systems, system installation and configuration
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Highly motivated and ability to work in small teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Experience with contact to customers.
• Knowledge of mobile telecoms
• 80% availability to travel on site (Africa, Asia, Europe)
