Lead a testing team on Embarcadero’s Interbase database technology.
Combine programming and testing with supervisory activities into a single job.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Schedule, assign and track QA activities in the team
• Collaborate with peers and managers to prioritize activities
• Write quality plans, set workloads, supervise and evaluate the work of reporting Quality Engineers
• Perform reviews on testing activities and results, sign off testing plan for various features
• Share technical knowledge, coach and grow team members
• Get into planning, building and executing comprehensive tests.
• Ensure issues are investigated and reported
Responsibilities and Activities:
• White box testing. Investigate code and develop code like regular developers
• Develop and maintain a suite of smoke, functional and regression test
• Use software test engineering tools for functional, performance and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Manage QA activities, organize test suites and bugs, prioritized bugs
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Make use of automation related to specific projects
• Communicate proactively within organization to ensure quality releases.
Skills and Experience Required:
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field
• Demonstrated of C++ programming experience
• Demonstrated understanding of database technology
• Proficiency with SQL
• Good OOP fundamentals understanding
• Very good command of written and spoken English
• Experience in leading a team to achieve goals
• Understanding of Agile development process is a plus
• Familiarity with Database development a plus
• Understanding of Firebird database technology a plus
