Synygy Europa SRL, having offices in Iasi and Bucharest, is the state of the art software solutions delivery centre of Synygy Inc. (headquartered in Philadelphia, USA) As Software Developer at SYNYGY Europa, you will work in our office in Iasi, with members of the Software Development teams to develop new tools for our EIM Application.
Responsibilities
* work closely with other software development teams to design and architect Synygy applications
* create installation and upgrade tools for Synygy's applications
* convert the high level design specifications into software specifications
* work closely with other Senior Developers and developers in order to implement the architecture of the applications/tools.
* understand client issues and work quickly to resolve them by developing patches and new versions of the applications
Prerequisites
* minimum 1 year of programming experience
* good knowledge of JAVA language and OOP concepts
* knowledge of a scripting language (RUBY/PHP/PEARL) is a plus
* familiar with SQL language
* experience with web programming
* experience configuring, deploying, and diagnosing applications on J2EE Application servers such as Tomcat and HTTP servers such as Apache HTTP Server
* experience with various Windows operating systems
* excellent problem solving abilities, diagnostic skills, and detail orientation
* good oral and written communication skills in Romanian and English
* a BS degree in Computer Science
