About the job:
Join the RAD Studio development team, working on Embarcadero's world-class IDE tools Delphi and C++Builder.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing database technologies for Delphi and C++ Builder. You will work on designing and implementing solid, robust, scalable, high-performance features for our customers to develop mission critical database applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement new database features in RAD Studio
• Enhance database functionality in RAD Studio to increase quality and performance
• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug database functionality in RAD Studio
• Utilize best practice software development processes
• Develop unit tests to ensure the high quality of your development work
Skills and Experience Required:
• 4+ years experience in delivering products from requirements to production
• Strong experience in Delphi, C++ or Java
• Solid experience in software architecture, object oriented design, and design patterns
• Strong algorithmic knowledge
• Good understanding of best engineering practices
• Experience with database theory and database systems
• Knowledge and experience on Windows platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good written and spoken English
• University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
