Requirements:
- 3 years relevant of programming experience
- Good JAVA, Linux and My SQL
- Experience in Lucene and various distributed file systems and clustering technologies
- Experience in multi-threading application development and network programming
- Experience in the entire development life cycle of at least one highly scalable and fault tolerant distributed system
- Knowledge of development methodologies like Agile Scrum
- Understand both the development and testing standpoints
Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis and design of specific components of a scale distributed computing system
- Implement and document APIs and provide training to client developers
- Adapt or implement tools/frameworks to support functional and non functional tests happening at the JAVA API levels and at the GUI level
- Work closely with development team throughout entire development process to understand and resolve issues
- Develop test plans and test case definition/design using requirements and technical specifications
- Run functional and performance testing using developed tools/frameworks
