As a member of the Embarcadero Development team, you will be responsible for ensuring quality deliverables within your focused product area. You will be involved in planning, building and executing comprehensive tests. You will ensure issues are investigated and reported. The testing involves black box, automated and white box. As a member of the team, you will be asserting your quality-centric opinions cross-functionally (with Quality Assurance, Testers, Developers and Product Managers) and driving software testing schedules. The successful candidate will also have the desire to understand the business logic and technical details of the Embarcadero application through active participation in day-to-day testing.

Other responsibilities:
• Design and implement automated test cases and frameworks to test our products
• Execute and debug automated tests.
• Triage test execution results and provide regular reports to the development organization.
• Assist the Automation lead with project management of automation tasks.
• Review automation code written by peers within the QA team.
• Design and execute manual tests on an as needed basis.
Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science
• Understanding of OOP principles, DB theory, algorithms, scripting languages, etc
• Strong software quality advocate
• Good communication skills in English is a must
• Highly organized and productive individual
• Self motivated
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Quality Assurance concepts, metrics, methodologies and documentation standard
• Database knowledge (SQL) - medium level
• Experience in end user testing would be a plus
