An opportunity exists to make an impact within our Innovation group. Specifically, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to become an integral part of our Development division in Bucharest.


Deliverables:

Actively participate in the SDLC by providing quality related feedback throughout
Provide feasible work estimates based on all QA activities related to a particular project or individual assignment
Act as a liaison between the technical and business sides of the project team
Use business and functional specifications to build QA design and create test strategy, test plans, test cases
Determine test strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, load and stress testing
Determine scope of secondary test strategies for security, fraud, performance, API, UI
Lead document review of test plan and test cases
Conduct black box / white box, automated and manual testing throughout lifecycle
Lead bug triage meetings and prioritize issues based on the client and project needs
Participate in release management meetings, provide testing stats on the test coverage and number of bugs found to determine the release readiness of a project
Own the lifecycle of issues/bugs being recorded, tracked, resolved and closed
Effectively communicate regarding QA issues based on acquired knowledge and be persuasive in addressing findings
Qualifications:

University degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent education
2-3 years of relevant QA experience; demonstrated knowledge of testing and software fundamentals and methodologies
Experience with automated testing using either commercial or homegrown tools
Ability to proactively plan out quality assurance approach based on business requirements
Able to plan and develop test cases for full requirement testing coverage
Proven analytical and problem solving skills and experience
1-2 years programming experience or educational exposure
At least 2 years experience using SQL
At least 2 years experience working with relational databases
Experience with OLAP databases a plus
Performance testing experience a plus
Able to persevere - willing to ask the right questions with the tenacity to ensure an answer is provided
Must have the enthusiasm for the quality assurance process in a development environment and approach QA from the end-user perspective
Must be organized, detailed oriented, and have effective time management in order to add value to multiple projects simultaneously
Must have well developed written and verbal communication skills
Must have well developed interpersonal skills, and be flexible and tactful in negotiation to quickly resolve issues and ensure fixes and recommendations are acted upon
