PHP QA Engineer for internal applications la 1&1 Internet AG Romania în Bucuresti

in our Bucharest-based development team.
What will you do?
You will….
… write code for testing internal applications with our OOP in house PHP Framework - www.xp-framework.net
…work together with the development teams to investigate and solve major software incidents;
…plan, design, develop and execute different types of tests for our web-based products;
…design regression, functional and non-functional tests for new system releases and automate them as much as possible;
…conduct white-box and black-box testing;

…review the technical documentation for accuracy.
And, most of all, you will be a part of our young and dynamic team.
If you have/are:
...good understanding of PHP;
...good knowledge of MySQL;
…basic usage of version control systems (Subversion);
…good XML, XSL/XSLT knowledge;
...unit testing (JUnit);
...scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript);
… know how to read a system specification to understand the purpose and structure of the system;
… know how to look at a system and its specification and from these understand the areas to be tested;
… know how to assess the quality of software by measuring the relevant factors: testability, correctness, reliability, usability, maintainability, reusability;
…BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
…fluent in English (both written and spoken);
…highly motivated, self-driven and interested in Quality Assurance;
…very good communication skills and a great team player;

Would be a plus:

...understanding of Java technologies;
… previous experience in Quality Assurance;
...knowledge of Sybase;
...experience with an automated testing tool (e.g. TestComplete, SeleniumIDE, JMeter);
