Online start-up based in Bucharest is looking for a dynamic and enthusiast colleague, willing to go the extra mile. As a PHP Developer in our team, you will work with our designer on the full cycle of the development process.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to build and extend existing projects
- Development of web applications, integration with external APIs and building internal tools
- Integrating third party systems and web services into our systems
- Take initiative on improving site performance, from front-end to back-end
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience
- Knowledge and experience with PHP, PHP frameworks (Symfony, Zend, Kohana, Code Igniter), PHP ORMs, HTML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML
- Knowledge and experience with SQL
- Demonstrable Object Oriented experience in PHP
- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Magento, Expression Engine, Drupal, X-Cart, Joomla)
- Must have a working knowledge of the abilities of Javascript libraries (jQuery / MooTools / Prototype)
- Experience with ecommerce development is preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent English is mandatory
Bonus points:
- Ajax – a plus
- Experienced in Systems Administration – Linux - a plus
- Adobe Flash skills - a plus
- HTML 5 – a plus
