OPERATING SYSTEM TECHNICAL LEADER
The perfect candidate will lead a team of 3 – 6 engineers to develop the next generation of safety-critical operating system platform .The development will be performed in a professional environment in close co-operation with experts in Austria and Germany.
The perfect candidate has strong LINUX knowledge (kernel and application development), has critical thinking and attention to detail, works well autonomously and is proactive and a good communicator. Main tasks / responsibilities are:
• Design, Implementation and Unit test (manual and automated test cases)
• Application maintenance and bug fixing
• Documentation
• Regular progress reporting
• Tasks and resources management (including task assignment, monitoring progress and managing risks)
• Inspiring and mentoring the team; coaching other team members
University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Very good understanding of the LINUX Kernel concepts and experience in writing kernel code
• Previous experience in LINUX Driver Development
• Expert in C programming
• Basic knowledge in one or more scripting languages
• Very good knowledge of the POSIX API
• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team
• Team-working
• Flexibility and availability to travel abroad from time to time
• English

CIRCUIT ENGINEER FOR CONVENTIONAL RELAY INTERLOCKING SYSTEMS
Analyse and testing on site of existing relay circuits for railway signalling systems.
- Level Crossing technique
- Point control technique
- Block technique
- Signal technique
As a Circuit Engineer you will travel abroad to the customer’s site in order to record and document the existing equipments. You will be responsible for creating the specifications for the implementation of Group solution and test the new designed relay based signaling equipment on site. In other words, you will be responsible with creating a linking interface between the ESTW interlocking installation and (part of) the existing installation, starting from an electrical design.
On site you will also have to make error analysis and documentation of relay based signaling equipments.
You will work with an International team with engineers based in Germany and Romania.
• Technical study of Transportation/Electronics Faculty
• Knowledge in the railway signalling domain.
• Experience in the relay based circuit domain.
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills; goal-orientated
• Team-working & reliable;
• Intercultural communication, including the empathy to work in an international team;
• Availability for travelling abroad;
• English communication skills
• German is a plus

LINUX DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Development of a LINUX-based, generic platform for safety-relevant railway applications, including:
• Design, Implementation/Coding and Unit test (manual and automated test cases)
• Application maintenance and bug fixing
• Documentation
• Regular progress reporting
The development will be performed in a professional environment in close cooperation with experts in Austria.
