An opportunity exists to make an impact within our Innovation group. Specifically, we are looking for a Senior .NET Application Developer to become an integral part of our Development Services division.


We are seeking a talented senior programmer with strong C#, OO programming and relational database skills. You will perform object oriented development and ongoing enhancement as a member of the development team; you will be involved in building and enhancing a large financial application in production. The application involves a variety of technologies built on the Microsoft platform. You must be a self-starter and be able to work autonomously and take initiative.

Required Skills


* Deep understanding of how to work effectively with the .Net framework
* Strong OOD/OOP experience
* 6+ years of C# using all versions of the .NET Framework
* Experience using Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 including WinForm and/or WebForms.
* 2+ years of database application development
* GUI development experience
* Experience with XBRL is an asset and nice to have skills
* Experience writing applications that interact with Microsoft Office, (especially with Word and Excel) on different versions of Microsoft .Net Framework (3.5) is a strong plus
* Experience with components such as LINQ, Aspose, DevExpress and Infragistics is a strong plus
* Experience with Visual Studio 2008, is preferred
* Accounting experience and knowledge is a strong plus
* Oracle experience is a strong plus
* Experience with WPF/WCF/SOA
* Experience with ADO.NET Entity Framework is definitely a plus
* Familiarity with OLAP databases such as Essbase and Microsoft Analysis Services

Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Superior organizational, problem solving, and time management abilities
* Passionate about providing solutions to challenging technical problems
* Experience and interest in being a mentor or lead.
