Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Business (or related experience), Master's degree a plus; • Experience in consulting or software development & deployment; • Results driven & a self-starter, working with minimal management control on a day-to-day basis - Essential; • Ability to articulate complex issues to a diverse audience - Essential • Team work, to share experiences/knowledge learned to enhance the teams capabilities - Essentail • Previous work experience with telecom carrier(s) / operator(s) desired; • Prior experience with enterprise mobility solutions (e.g. Intellisync, Blackberry, Visto, Good Technologies or Seven) or experience in email data centers preferred; • Certification/Expert Competency in at least one messaging platform (e.g. Exchange, Domino) preferred; • Foreign travel required (10-30%). • At least one of the following mobile email solutions - (e.g. RIM, Visto, Good, Smartner, Seven, Extended Systems, Intellisync, Nokia Messaging) - Essential • Familiarity with different services for mobile devices (Maps, Games, store applications) - Essential • Email systems (MS Exchange, IMAP and POP email servers) - Desirable • Knowledge of mobile device communications (e.g. GPRS, 3G, APNs) • Strong Microsoft product skills (e.g. Exchange, Windows Server & Active Directory) - Desirable; • Mobile device OS e.g. Symbian - Desirable; • Mobile device clients - Email, PIM, SyncML - Desirable • Mobile device security e.g. FW/Anti Virus – Desirable
Responsibilities: • Be the customer's & project team's focal point for technology expertise during a deployment; • On-going support & trouble shooting for carrier customers if issues are escalated from Nokia's support organization; • Creating & presenting technical deliverables, approaches and architectures for multiple the Business products and underlying systems • Builds and maintains relationships with peer level client staff during and between projects; • Understands and can discuss technical issues in business language to senior client and company's staff; • Understand the customer's industry dynamics, competition, current business processes/technology solutions, and mobility needs; • Consult on, and articulate end-to-end mobility solutions leveraging the company and partner products and technologies (solution architecture, business benefits, deployment options, etc.); • Develop technical proposals & present to the sales team & customer; • Ability to rapidly and clearly communicate issues, options, benefits and recommendations to technical and business team members; • Able to architect a complete end to end solution; • Provide substantial remote support, guidance and advice to the customer & team members; • Mentor other technical staff, champions new technologies & standards into the organization; • Provide feedback to company's product lines & R&D.
