As the leader of one of the JBuilder developer teams you’ll be part of Embarcadero – CodeGear tool development teams and serve a community of more than 3 million customers in database and programming tools in order to get their work done faster and more productive.
You’ll work in a Agile environment with cutting edge technologies developing and implementing new features that help the Java and J2EE developers around the globe get to higher performances using JBuilder.

Our future colleague will have to:
• Lead a team of developers and quality assurance engineers in order to implement new features in JBuilder and to fix bugs;
• Get involved in development process and come up with solutions while assisting the developers;
• Get involved in the quality assurance process in order to offer support;
• Run daily scrums and make reports to the upper management and team regarding performance;
• Monitor tasks and individual performance; coach the persons that needs it for a better performance;
• Write code in Java by using JBuilder and perform tests to help the team get their tasks done in time;

Requirements:
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Good algorithms and problem solving abilities
• Working knowledge of design patterns, object oriented programming, object oriented design
• Team player, able to coach and mentor a team; demonstrated leadership skills
• Passionate about software development in general, Eclipse-based technologies and Java in particular
• Good communication skills in English is a must
• Experience with database programming such that Java, J2EE, JPA and web services development
• Good knowledge of JBuilder is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile development process is a plus, otherwise training is provided
