Requirements:
- 5 yeas software field testing experience utilizing modern testing methods and techniques
- Field testing experience with products to be sold commercially
- Experience leading a team of test engineers
- Ability to prioritize tasks for short and long term deliverables
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- BA/BS degree Computer Science or Engineering
- Good technical communication skills in both written and spoken English
- Linux and MS Windows-based server experience
- Use of test management and error management tools
- Wireless LAN
- IP-based network technologies
- Windows and DOS utilities including command-line tools
- Previous experience in an Agile development environment
- Scripting experience with QTP or TestQuest
Responsibilities:
- Collect testing goals and requirements from internet service program stakeholders
- Gain product expertise, becoming a subject matter expert on the service that is being tested
- Plan testing activities based on agreed goals and requirements
- Design, implement, review and execute test cases and test labs based on product functional and system specifications
- Schedule field test activities based on stated goals and available resources
- Lead test engineers in the execution of plans
- Document and follow-up on reported defects
- Define, design and develop software test tools
- Maintain clear and effective communications
- Conduct technical training of team members
- Represent the field trials team to other stakeholders with professionalism
