We are seeking to recruit an Experienced .NET Developer to step in to a role with real influence, and be part of a team working on some great high profile and successful brands, such as Webfusion and 123-reg.

About the job

To research, specify, develop, test, maintain & support high performance internal and product related systems for the Webfusion business unit.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

•Design, develop, maintain and support software as a member of the Webfusion’s Product Development Team.
•Ensure software under development is managed with appropriate source code control and release processes.
•Ensure software adheres to relevant coding standards and is documented using internal systems.
•Interact with the product managers to gather requirements, deploy and when relevant support our systems.
•Work with Hosting Operations when researching & designing new products as well as offering support to ensure relevant SLA’s are met.
Requirements:

Mandatory:

•University degree or equivalent level education in Computing or a related discipline
•At least 3 year C#.Net experience
•Experience of creating “n” tier applications
•Above average knowledge of MS SQL server including DB design, and use of stored procedures and triggers
•Web development skills (HTML/DHTML/CSS/JavaScript)
•Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable:

•Experience in leading a project team (“technical leader”) is a plus
•Experience of creating multi-threaded applications.
•Exposure to service oriented architectures (SOA)
•Exposure to UML / OO design
•Basic sys-admin and networking skills
