Job description
We are looking for a strong Python/Django developer with experience building and maintaining customer facing web applications. Main duties
• Developing new features, often in response to user feedback
• Deploying, maintaining and scaling the product in production
• Working in a fast paced environment with rapid iterations and product pushes
Skills required
• Previous development of production systems using dynamic languages - Python
• Extensive experience with MVC based web frameworks - Django
• Strong understanding of object oriented software, design patterns, and fundamentals of software design
• Strong experience with estimating and meeting software delivery schedules in a project-driven software development team during rapid development cycles
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
• The ability to write maintainable code
• Experience with system administration (in UNIX) is a plus.
