Responsibilities
You will be a part of a young and dynamic team and you will work on VoIP projects within the Bucharest-based Linux Development team.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- work with one of the biggest Voice over IP networks in Europe;
- develop and maintain the VoIP system that serves our customers in Germany;
- contribute to the open-source projects that lay at the foundation of our VoIP backend;
- update the system to support new library releases, protocol versions, lawful regulations;
- enhance our VoIP testing framework that emulates production conditions.

Requirements
- previous experience with C/C++ programming under Linux;
- good understanding of VoIP related concepts and the SIP protocol suite;
- practical knowledge of networking concepts and programming: TCP/UDP sockets, synchronous/asynchronous communication;
- practical experience with relational databases/SQL knowledge (MySQL);
- multi-threading, multi-processing, synchronization primitives;
- knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash;
- practice with version control systems like subversion or git;
- ability to communicate in (written, spoken) English.
Would be a plus:
- knowledge of (or previous participation in) open-source projects related to VoIP area (e.g. Kamailio, SIP Router);
- knowledge of object-oriented programming practices and patterns;
- interest in system or real-time programming and protocols;
- experience in working with larger distributed server systems.
