GESKIMO SRL - Software Developer & Digital Marketing Agency is looking for a top C/C+ Linux/Unix Programmer for a
project based / part time position. You can either work from our office or from home.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of full-time development experience with C/C+ under Linux and Unix based systems.

We are looking for someone who is hard working, serious, able to respect deadlines .

The job is related to building a Super Fast Web Crawler & HTML Parser.

What You Will Do

* Help build out and prototype new ideas and applications leveraging C/C++ unde Linux
* Use MySQL to build/query/run databases
* Build scalable & super optimised code for intensive data applications

We need and expect

* Strong communication skills
* Open Minded
* Be interested in a medium to long term collaboration. This is not a One time / Hit & Run Job. This is a medium term
oportunity for working with us on a spectacular project.
* Good English skills - Used to work driven by english specification documents


Technical Qualifications

* 3+ years of C programming. You should be very comfortable with OOP
* Previous experience of Linux development tools
* Understanding of the Linux stack and how things work
* You need to use OOP concepts and application design principles.
* Working knowledge of RDBMS with the ability to write clean and efficient SQL.
* Advanced MySQL Knowledge

Bonus Points for

* Past experience working on a Web Crawler / HTML Parser Project or Similar (big plus)
* XML Knowledge
* Used to work with request trackers (i.e. Mantis, BugZilla)
