Our client is a global supplier of insurance and financial services, active in over 60 countries world-wide and the first international company to enter the Romanian life insurance market.

Responsibilities
1. Maintain and control Finance Master Data, Chart of Accounts (CoA) and Core Model data (one common set of principles for Finance) and appropriate configuration.
2. Monitor and evaluate user requests for enhancement, Core Model modifications and potential change requests. Perform feasibility and reasonability analyses on request and assign to them a priority level. Implement enhancements in accordance to business approach, business requirements, and PeopleSoft design.
3. Provide support to user inquiries on sub-ledger and GL processing. Resolve problems, document solutions and communicate resolutions to appropriate parties.
4. Update and maintain all related training documentation.
5. Maintain an acceptable knowledge level of functionality for sub-ledger and GL processing by continuing an ongoing education on these topics. Monitor and recommend actions on appropriate upgrades or new releases.
6. Monitor & maintain Period-End Close processes by: (1) validating interface runs, (2) reconciling between sub-ledgers and the GL and (3) resolving errors.
7. Project Management: manage one or two (sub-) projects covering developments and changes in information systems.

Requirements
• Minimal 2-3 years work experience with PeopleSoft
• Practical, basic knowledge (understanding) of financial accounting in insurance
• Practical knowledge of help desk and change management processes and tools
• Experience in user training and preparation training materials
• Fluent English
• Willingness to work in Cluj on a full-time basis.
