Choosing an open source licence
In a few weeks we will launch two open source products.
But we want to talk about something else: What license to choose?
We know that we want to:
- keep in a visibile link in the bottom or in the header of our products
- we don’t want to allow people to re-package and release the same open source product
- we want to allow people to make money with these products
- allow people to modify, edit and contribute.
The simple thought: allow people do pretty much everything but will small restraints.
What’s your experience with open source licenses?
This community already explores this question.
What’s your suggestion for us?
